Wildlife on Lillifield

Wildlife in Lillifield

There is abundant wildlife here! Some we would be happier lived elsewhere than digging up our veggie gardens, but all are here to share our space- be they in the air, on the ground or in it -what would we do without earthworms?

These pages show some of our friends where we have been able to capture them in photos and these pages will be added to as folk manage the trick to sneak up on critters of all sorts with their cameras. May you enjoy learning about what we share our places with.

There are heaps of websites to get info from, but a really useful one is http://www.ala.org.au/  which is the Atlas of Living Australia. As the site says, it is all about sharing knowledge about our wildlife biodiversity. In fact, this site is a bit like a community where everyone – academics in their field, the scientific community, the environmental community and anyone who wants to participate – gathers together and provides as much
information about Australiaʼs wildlife as possible. Definitely worth a look!
